Ryan Ho's two fourth-quarter touchdowns snapped a 7-all game and No. 2 Kamehameha held off No. 5 Saint Louis, 21-7, last night in Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I football at Aloha Stadium.

The Warriors (9-1 overall, 6-1 ILH) close out the regular season Thursday against Punahou (5-2) at Aloha Stadium. A win will give them the ILH Division I championship and state tournament berth. Defending league and state champion Punahou must win to force a tie for the league lead and a playoff to decide the champion.

The Crusaders (7-4, 4-4) played last night like a title game even though they knew they were eliminated from the title chase. It was their season finale.

Ho finished with 164 yards rushing on 29 carries, garnering 108 in the second half.

Kamehameha tied the game at 7 late in the third quarter after converting a fourth-and-10 with a 24-yard pass from T.C. Campbell to Blaise Cuban to the Saints' 1. Running back Kupono Park plunged in on the next play for a TD. Tarra Gabriel's PAT tied it at 7 with 1:45 left in the quarter.

Midway through the fourth quarter, the Warriors started at the Saints' 48 after forcing the Crusaders to punt deep from their own territory. Ho covered 39 of the 46 yards on five carries in the six-play drive, ending it with an 8-yard TD run to give Kamehameha a 14-7 lead with 5:37 left.

After an interception by Taylor Taliulu off Jeremy Higgins, the Warriors scored on a 28-yard run by Ho to make it 21-7 with 3:04 left in the game.

Despite turning over the ball three times, the Crusaders managed to take a 7-0 lead into the half.

After getting pinned at its 9 following a 53-yard punt by Brandon Marfil, Saint Louis marched down field, scoring on Higgins' 32-yard fade pass over the middle to Duke Bukoski in the end zone. Jesse Correa's PAT made it 7-0.

The play of the first half belonged to Kamehameha DB Wave Ryder, who chased down Saint Louis receiver Sean Ahlo, who was two yards shy of completing a 77-yard TD pass play in the first quarter. But Ryder hit the ball out of Ahlo's hands just before the receiver reached the end zone. The ball rolled out the back of the end zone for a touchback.
