REHAB Hospital showing patient art tomorrow

The REHAB Hospital of the Pacific is hosting an exhibit and sale of original artwork by patients, former patients and established artists tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m.

The 10th annual "Art from the Heart" fundraiser features more than 500 pieces, many by patients who celebrating their abilities rather than disabilities through the Louis Vuitton Creative Arts Program.

In addition, for the first time, the annual sale will feature art from prominent local artists who have supported the hospital, including Mark Brown, Tanya D’Avanzo, Jodi Endicott, Deborah Nehmad, Bailey Leong, Mari Sakamoto, Atsumi Yamamoto, Jane Houk, Ed Furuiki, and Joseph Hauoli Dowson. Proceeds from the sale will help support the hospital's art program.
