Helemano Christmas trees keep 2008 prices

Helemano Farms in Whitmore Village will be selling thousands of Norfolk pine trees and locally-made wreaths starting the day after Thanksgiving, with 6-foot pines at $40 and wreaths for $25.

The Norfolk trees range from 5 to 20 feet tall and and visitors to Helemano Farms can choose their trees, which will be cut, wrapped and loaded by farm employees free of charge. The cut trees will grow back for future holidays.

Helemano Farms offers fundraising groups prepaid Christmas tree tickets, but those not holding tickets must pay cash.

The farm, located at the end of Whitmore Avenue in Wahiawa's Whitmore Village, will be open from noon to sunset on weekdays and 10 a.m. to sunset on weekends until two days before Christmas. Visit www.HelemanoFarms.com or call 622-4287 with questions.
