Here's hoping for a sellout for Lea Salonga's concert Tuesday night at Blaisdell Concert Hall.

The Broadway legend — the original "Miss Saigon" — is donating $2 from every ticket sold to disaster relief to help the Philippines rebuild after Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy) and Typhoon Parma (Pepeng) ripped through the country.

Salonga was born and raised in the Philippines, getting her musical start when she was 7 with a role in "The King and I." The devastating typhoons have brought out her humanitarian side. She raised more than $19,000 last month for disaster relief while performing on the Mainland. Next year, starting in July, she will star as Grizabella in the Broadway musical "Cats," which will open July 24 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It's the only place she'll be performing with "Cats."

The other reason to check her out Tuesday is she simply has a golden voice that's perfect for some mid-week relaxing. Tickets range from $39 to $125 and can be purchased at 877-750-4400 or www.ticketmaster.com.

Fancy yourself an actor or actress, or know an aspiring one? Longtime Los Angeles talent agent Don Gibble of Don Gibble and Associates will be in town Nov. 16 to conduct a workshop for models and actors (of all ages, shapes and sizes) interested in auditioning for commercials and television shows in Los Angeles. Kevin Scott, casting director of "The West Wing," will also help conduct the workshop. It will take place at the JWMarriott Ihilani in Kapolei, from 5 to 8 p.m. Cost is $50. E-mail Gibble at dongibblecast@hotmail.com.

"I'm Not Fat, I'm Fluffy" gives you an idea of the comedy act Gabriel Iglesias puts on. His comedy tour comes to Blaisdell Concert Hall Nov. 27, but if you want a sneak peek before you buy tickets(through Ticketmaster), check out his "I'm Not Fat, I'm Fluffy" special Sunday on Comedy Central. Check local TV listings for showtimes.

Two more TV shows that can make your week go a little faster: "Modern Family"(ABC,Wednesdays) and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"(FX, Thursdays). If you have HBO, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is must-see TV, too.

Raiatea Helm is a busy woman these days. Hawaiian Host has brought her back for an encore Christmas Macadamia Medley promotion through a series of mini concerts and autograph-signing sessions this month, and her five-song CD featuring "Foolish Ways" is in Hawaiian Host's premium Christmas Macadamia Medley. She's also headlining the Dec. 10 Blaisdell Concert Hall extravaganza "Four Doctors and a Patient," and is joining Frank De Lima Sunday in a celebration of Saint Damien at C'est Si Bon at the Pagoda Hotel from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $30 for graduates of Damien Memorial School between 2005 and 2009, $40 general admission and $50 for reserved seating.
