Pac-Five passes by Word of Life

P.J. Minaya threw three consecutive passes for touchdowns to London Amorin in the second half to snap a 14-all game and Pac-Five downed Word of Life, 33-14, yesterday in their Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II season finale.

Minaya was 21 of 31 for 326 yards and five TDs for the Wolf Pack (7-5 overall, 4-5 ILH). He threw TD passes of 40, 41 and 38 yards in succession to Amorin to seal the victory against the Firebrands (1-10, 1-8). The three successive TD passes each came on first down following a WOLA turnover.

Amorin finished with nine catches for 199 yards.

Minaya finished the season with 3,718 yards and 45 TDs. Amorin had 101 catches for 1,653 yards and 20 TDs.

WOLA's Awa Poggi rushed for 170 yards on 37 carries, scoring on a 16-yard run.
