Hawaii volcanoes: January marks the 27th anniversary of Kílauea's east rift zone eruption. Throughout the month, the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and other partner organizations will offer guided hikes, talks, living history programs and educational workshops.
