Chamber Music Hawaii offering discount for symphony ticket holders

Advertiser Staff

Those holding tickets for canceled Honolulu Symphony concerts can receive $5 off a Chamber Music of Hawaii ticket for each symphony ticket shown at the box office.

The offer applies to Nov. 15 and 16 tickets for “A Trios of Trios," featuring Brahms’ Horn Trio, Mozart’s “Kegelstatt” Trio and Charles Loeffler’s Two Rhapsodies.

The concerts are 4 p.m. Sunday at the Honolulu Academy of Arts Doris Duke Theatre and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at Windward Community College’s Paliku Theatre.

Tickets are $25 general, $20 for seniors and military, free for students — before the symphony ticket discount. Advance tickets are available at www.chambermusichawaii.com or by phone at 489-5038.

The Honolulu Symphony has announced it is canceling the rest of its 2009-2010 concerts and is expected to file for bankruptcy protection this week.
