FIRST INSURANCE

Roger Buss has joined First Insurance Company of Hawaii as Enterprise System Project program manager. He will supervise the company's initiative to update its information technology systems. Buss is an 11-year veteran of the property and casualty insurance industry.

REVOLUSUN

RevoluSun, provider of residential solar electric and solar thermal water systems, has brought Marcus Jones on board as a partner. He will be in charge of development and oversee daily operations.

ARCHITECTS HAWAII

Architects Hawaii Ltd. has announced new additions to the firm:

Gary Asahina, project architect, has managed government and private sector projects, including administrative buildings, hospitals, correctional facilities, schools, residences, resorts and commercial centers.

Jared Lum, who will offer technical support, is a former AHL archiving assistant who joined the firm full time in May 2009.

Raymond Okamoto, construction administrator, is a former AHL staff member who is returning to the firm from Nordic PCL Construction.

Dean Takasato, associate /health care architect, has more than 14 years of experience as a medical planner and project architect and is seasoned in large-scale project delivery.

Debra Yuen, marketing coordinator, was previously with The Honolulu Advertiser, most recently as editor of the TGIF entertainment section.

AFTER-SCHOOL ALL-STARS

Dawn Matsuyama Dunbar has been named executive director of After-School All-Stars Hawaii, a new nonprofit launching after-school programs in Hawaii's middle schools this year. Dunbar is responsible for the management, leadership and promotion of and fundraising for the organization.

SHARON SERENE CREATIVE

Neazel Calaro has been promoted to account executive at Sharon Serene Creative advertising agency. She will be responsible for Hawaii Kai Towne Center, as well as several individual retail merchant accounts.

Reena Johnson has been promoted to senior account executive, responsible for the Kahala Mall account and quarterly publication of Zine, the Kahala Mall shopping magazine.

Stryker Weiner & Yokota Public Relations Inc. has hired Tracy Teruya as senior account executive and Jessica Woo as assistant account executive.
