The Friends of Honolulu City Lights this year is selling two ornaments to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the city's annual holiday tree and light display.

Owen Ho designed a brass ornament — the 10th in a series — featuring Shaka Santa and Tutu Mele holding a birthday cake to mark the event’s silver anniversary.

In addition, a limited edition commemorative silver ornament is on sale this year only. The ornament is shaped like a snowflake reflecting local quilt patterns with the 25th anniversary logo in the center.

Both ornaments are available for $18 each at all Macy’s and First Hawaiian Bank Branches on Oahu, as well as Borders Books at Windward Mall, Waikele, Pearlridge and Ward Centre. They can also be purchased directly from the Friends at www.honolulucitylights.org. Ornaments purchased online will cost $21, which includes shipping and handling.
