Military get free ticket to ride at water park

Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii will tomorrow host its seventh annual Veteran’s Day event.
All active duty and retired military, reservists and national guard (with valid identification) receive free entry into the park to enjoy more than 25 rides and attractions.
Friends and family members can also purchase a special discount admission for $19.99
The event also features live entertainment, games and free prizes by KHCM’s Country 97.5 FM.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Country 97.5 FM will host rodeo challenges, live entertainment and a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas for the National Rodeo Finals, courtesy of Vacations Hawaii.
At 1:15 p.m., guests will get a chance to win one of four keys to start a 2010 Suzuki Motorcycle.
“Each year, we’re proud to honor the hundreds of thousand men and women in Hawaii’s military,” Takuya Ohki, Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii’s general manager said in a news release.
“This is our way of showing a small token of our appreciation to the military and their families to enjoy full day fun activities and our biggest and best rides and attractions.”
For guests unable to make it tomorrow, a special $19.99 “Military Appreciation Weekend” discount ticket offer will be available on Saturday and Sunday.
