As part of the Honolulu Academy of Arts’ Ambassador Outreach Program, which brings the art of Hawaii into the public schools, the Honolulu Design Within Reach Studio will host a two-week exhibit of children’s artworks.
The art will be on view to the public beginning Thursday, Nov. 12, through Nov. 25.
The exhibit is a joint effort of DWR and Friends of Hawaii Charities.
According to the Honolulu Academy of Arts, the museum's of Arts Ambassador Outreach Program combines a guided tour of a gallery at the Academy with two classroom visits by an art "ambassador." Students then make art reflecting what they have learned.
Design Within Reach is in the Ala Moana Shopping Center, top level, next to Nordstrom.
