University of Hawai'i forward Roderick Flemings was named the Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week today for his role in helping the Rainbow Warriors get off to a 2-0 start this season.

Flemings had consecutive double-double performances in UH's Rainbow Classic wins over Southern Utah and McNeese State with 23 points and 12 rebounds Friday and 14 points and 10 rebounds last night.
It is the second such WAC honor for the senior from Texas.
Hawai'i plays Northern Colorado tonight at 11 p.m. in the title name of the Rainbow Classic.
