The teens, who were 16 to 17 years old, told police they sitting in their car at about midnight Saturday night when when five other teenage boys approached, police were told.
The boys appeared to be between 15 to 17 years old and one of them asked the boys in the car for a dollar.
The group in the car told the other boys they did not have any money, police were told.
At that point, two of the boys in the group that demanded money drew knives while a third put on brass knuckles and told those in the car to hand over their wallets, police were told.
