Advertiser Staff

The Hawai‘i Convention Center is advising residents and motorists of high pedestrian and shuttle bus traffic in Waikiki and the surrounding areas of the center during the Christian Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses of Hawai‘i’s two international meetings from Thursday to Sunday and Nov. 26-29.

The meetings are expected to draw a total attendance of 24,000 (approximately 12,000 attendees for each meeting) people.
The majority of the heaviest traffic will be seen from 7 to 9 a.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Motorists should also be advised of road closures surrounding the convention center as well as the presence of police officers who will be directing traffic.
