Hawaii homeowners can pick up some tips on getting a home construction project started with Graham Builders’ "Building Your Home for Life" seminar on Saturday.

More people in Hawaii are turning to large additions to a home or planning to demolish and build new instead of purchasing a new home and need help through the complex process.
Homeowners will learn in the seminar:

  • where to start,
  • how to select a builder,
  • what to watch out for,
  • what one needs to know about residential design,
  • setting a budget,
  • estimating,
  • financing and
  • scheduling.
The seminar will be at the Honolulu Country Club. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m.; the seminar runs from 9 to 11 a.m.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call 306-4407 to register.
