Hale'iwa market plans Holiday Faire

The Hale'iwa Farmers' Market will present a Holiday Faire from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 29 with special keiki activities, including a visit from Santa, arts and crafts with Rex & Surf Dog, face painting, seed planting with 'AINA in Schools and, of course, produce and food stands.

Among the food vendors often at the market are Ed's Little Farm, Kahuku Farms, La Crepe Cafe, Lovan Taro Farm, Ma'o Organics, Mohalu Farm, Mokuleia Aquafarm, Macrobiotic Hawai'i, Nalo Mele (honey), North Shore Cattle Co., North Shore Farms/Big Wave Tomatoes, Marine Agritech (sea asparagus) and Twin Bridge Farms (asparagus).

The market is at the junction of Kamehameha Highway and the Joseph P. Leong bypass, not far from Hale'iwa Beach Park. Admission is free and there is parking. Information: 388-9696, www.haleiwafarmersmarket.com.
