Advertiser Staff

The "Aloha Prep Bowl" football all-star doubleheader is set for Dec. 12 at Aloha Stadium.

The 19th Annual Hawai'i Union Builders Goodwill Senior Bowl will kick off the doubleheader at 4 p.m., featuring 100 local all-stars in an East vs. West game. That will be followed at 7 by the Second Annual Hawai'i/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl, featuring local/Polynesian all-stars against a team of 40 Mainland all-stars.

The local team will include 38 Hawai'i players, three from American Samoa and nine Mainland players with Hawai'i ties. Rosters will be announced later, according to an Aloha Prep Bowl press release.

The Mainland team won last year's inaugural game, 22-8.

Tickets to this year's doubleheader are available at the Aloha Stadium box office and at www.HawaiiAthletics.com

Proceeds from the doubleheader will go to the HUB Foundation, which provides scholarships to Hawai'i college-bound student-athletes.
