Millicent Cummings performing tonight

Singer/songwriter Millicent Cummings will take the Atherton Studio stage tonight for a performance of original music she calls “Life is a Gift.”

Her latest CD, “Altar Native,” was recorded live during a previous Atherton concert. The album was nominated this year for a Nä Hökü Hanohano award.
Cummings will be joined tonight by Darby Slick on double-necked fretless guitar, Rick Smith on slide guitar, Steve Bazo on bass, Joe Lohmeier on cello and Rogerio Araujo on percussion and drums. Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 for Hawaii Public Radio members and $15 for students with ID.
