Eating with Santa benefits child abuse prevention

Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii is selling tickets for its 23rd Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 12 at the Japanese Cultural Center.

In addition to Santa, more than 20 costumed characters will be at the event, including Star Wars Stormtroopers, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Elmo, Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, the Hamburglar and Cheeseasarus Rex.

The breakfast is from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and lunch is from noon to 2 p.m. Donations of $20 per person include a meal, a photo with Santa, clowns, face-painting, games, crafts, magicians and a gift. Children under 2 who do not need a seat or meal are free.
