Fire officials have determined that the fire that destroyed a St. Louis Heights home early Wednesday morning was caused by accident.

Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig said investigators found that an electrical short caused the two-alarm fire that destroyed the single-story home at 1567 Bertram St.
Two residents were treated at the scene of the fire for smoke inhalation and minor burns.
Damage was estimated at $350,000 to the structure and its contents.
