The No. 17 Arizona State women's basketball team defeated Hawai'i, 65-53, in today's opening game of the Jack in The Box Rainbow Wahine Classic at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The three-team round-robin tournament continues tomorrow with Arizona State (3-1) facing East Tennessee State (1-2) at 2 p.m. The tournament ends Sunday with Hawai'i (1-3) playing East Tennessee State at 5 p.m.
Keisha Kanekoa led Hawai'i with 15 points in its home opener.
