William "Otis" Brown, 80, of Honolulu, died Nov. 13, 2009. Born in West Virginia. Retired from U.S. Army. Survived by wife, Ha Thuyen; son, Patrick; daughters, Baha Suzuki and Kiet Taylor; brother, Amos; sisters, Edith Wright and Geraldine "Deanie" Mitchell. June Yvonne Burghardt, 77, of Wahiawä, died Nov. 16, 2009. Born in Alton, Ill. A mother to a multitude of children in the community. Survived by husband of 58 years, Charles; daughters, Marie, Claudia Hernandez and Emma; sons, Charles II and Jimmy; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Wesley "Wes" John Correira Sr., 57, of Hilo, Hawaii, died Nov. 16, 2009. Born in Honokaa, Hawaii. A member of the AFL-CIO Tapers Union Local 1944; Hawaii Army National Guard member.
