Water service has been restored to 21 homes that have been without water since a pipe broke yesterday morning in Halawa Heights.

The water main break was reported at 3:37 a.m. on Halawa Heights Road between Aliipoe Drive and Iwaiwa Street. The road was closed while crews replaced more than eight feet of pipe.
Shortly after 3 yesterday afternoon, water was restored to the affected area.
The road was reopened about 6 p.m.
