NBA: T-Wolves beat Nuggets 106-100 to end 15-game skid

Associated Press

DENVER — Ryan Gomes scored 27 points, the most by a Timberwolves player this season, and Minnesota snapped a 15-game losing streak by beating the Denver Nuggets 106-100 Sunday night.

Corey Brewer and Jonny Flynn each scored 16 points in helping Minnesota rally from 17 points down in the first half and register their first win since a season-opening victory against New Jersey. It was also their first road victory of the season.
Carmelo Anthony matched a season-high with 19 points in the first quarter and finished with 32 but could not prevent Denver’s first loss to Minnesota in the last 11 meetings. The defeat ended the Nuggets’ regular season home winning streak at 17 games.
