The Kaiser Permanente Great Aloha Run will hold a kickoff party from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pioneer Plaza downtown, with entertainment, food and drink samples, massages and giveaways for those who sign up for the run.

The deadline for early registration is Thursday, but the kick-off event is the last chance to sign up for a free In Training T-shirt and 2010 calendar. The first 300 people to sign up will also receive a KP sport bag, water bottle and neoprene armband that can hold an MP3 player.
