Hello Kitty-inspired cafe to open in Pearlridge

Cyrus Goo, Cafe Laufer pastry chef, has partnered with Ben Chow to create Sanrio Cafe, the first Sanrio-licensed eatery in the country, serving light meals inspired by such Sanrio characters at Hello Kitty, Pochacco and Keroppi.

The new restaurant in the downtown, second level area of Pearlridge Center is to open in March 2010 and will serve pastries, sandwiches, salads, teas, coffees, smoothies and such. The focus is on light, healthful eating.
