Paliku Theatre extends 'West Side Story' through Nov. 1

Palikū Theatre at Windward Community College in Kāneʻohe is extending its fall production of the hit Broadway musical "West Side Story," through Nov. 1.

The landmark show, with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, has shows each weekend on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 4 p.m. (the special Halloween show Sat., Oct. 31 is at 2 pm).  The Palikū production, acclaimed by critics as a “Broadway musical done as it should be,” is helmed by award-winning director Ron Bright.

Tickets may also be purchased online 24/7 at www.eTicketHawaii.com.  Prices are $28 for adults, $26 for military, seniors 62 and older and UH Faculty and Staff, and $18 for UH Students of any age with ID and children up to age 25. Group rates are available for 10 or more.
