Two children who appeared to be “pre-teens” were seriously injured this morning when they were struck by a motor vehicle near 1739 Liliha St., said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.

Paramedics were sent to the scene at 7:52 a.m. and treated and stabilized the two patients before taking them to a trauma center, Cheplic said.
