Big Island police seek public's help in finding missing Kona man

HILO — Hawaii County police are asking the public’s help in finding a 28-year-old Kona man who was reported missing September 6.

Police say Michael Spear’s family last heard from him by phone in August.
Spear is described as 5 feet 8 and about 150 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
