Free hula and Tahitian dance concert Sunday at Waikiki Shell

“Pio Anuenue, the Rainbow Connection,” a free hula and Tahitian dance concert featuring over 100 dancers, is planned for Sunday at the Waikiki Shell.
The performance features Halau Na Puakea O Koolaupoko (kumu hula Pattye Kealohalani Wright, Kailua) and Halau Halihali Ke Ao (kumu hula Sandii Manumele, Tokyo).
Gates open at 3 p.m., and the concert is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Admission is free. Food and drink concessions will be operating.
The Waikiki Shell prohibits coolers larger than 18 inches, packages, bags and knapsacks larger than 12 inches by 12inches, and more than one container per person. No chairs, open containers or glass containers are allowed inside.
