Tube Notes: TV highlights tonight

TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: “The Office,” 8 p.m., NBC.
From the moment this show debuted, three-and-a-half years ago, viewers have rooted for Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) to be together.
Here were two sweet-spirited souls. Pam was engaged to a lout, but deserved better; Jim was in love with her, but wouldn't say anything.
Tonight, they finally have their wedding. They scheduled it for Niagara Falls, somehow thinking their colleagues would stay away; that strategy failed in “Scrubs” and does again here.
The entire gang converges, with Michael, Dwight and Andy hoping for romance with wedding guests. Everyone is warned not to mention Pam's pregnancy; we'll see how long that lasts.
TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE II: “Grey's Anatomy,” 8 p.m., ABC.
Meredith Grey has fumed at her absent and alcoholic father. Lexie Grey, her half-sister, has been more sympathetic. He's been trying to quit drinking lately, but it's too late. His liver has failed and Meredith treats him. Also, Izzie empathizes with a patient and Cristina is tricked into doing an unusual operation.
OTHER CHOICES:
“FlashForward,” 7 p.m., ABC.
During the worldwide black-out, most people had visions six months into the future, but Demitri (John Cho) saw nothing. Now a tip triggers his worst fear – that this means he'll be dead by then. Meanwhile, an imprisoned Nazi claims he knows something about the black-outs.
“Vampire Diaries,” 7 p.m., CW, Oceanic digital channel 93.
Stefan, the vampire, reveals part of his past to sweet Elena. She has other concerns, though: She gets disturbing information about his family; also, she frets about her brother's relationship with Vicki.
“Community,” 7 p.m., NBC.
After three weeks nestled behind “The Office,” this excellent show move into its regular timeslot. It also brings back John Oliver, the wonderful “Daily Show” comedian, who was in the opener. He has a psychology-research project; Annie joins it, grabbing Troy and Abed as subjects. Meanwhile, Jeff is pining for Britta and gossips about her new boyfrined.
“Parks and Recreation,” 7:30 p.m., NBC.
The relationship between Leslie and a cop (nicely underplayed by comedian Louis C.K.) has been unfolding neatly. Before going out with him, she tries a practice date. Meanwhile, a local scandal breaks out and staffers try to dig out dirt on each other.
“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” 8 p.m., CBS.
Armed robbery is best left to professionals, you know. Tonight, two office colleagues plan to hold up a casino; soon, there's a murder investigation.
“The Mentalist,” 9:01 p.m., CBS.
A child-molester is killed, shortly after being paroled. Lisbon (Robin Tunney), who made the original arrest, is a prime suspect; now her colleagues investigate.
“Private Practice,” 9:01 p.m., ABC.
Last week, Violet survived a brutal attack and her baby was recovered alive. Still, this has left her feeling shattered.
