Alternative Taste Festival tonight at Marks Garage

The Alternative Taste Street Festival tonight in downtown Honolulu offers entertainment on three stages by 14 bands, delicious food from 11 restaurants, an alternative street market with massages, psychics, clean energy, and gay pride information among the sidewalk booths, from 6-10 p.m., and it's free,

Music includes Doolin Rakes and Rolando Sanchez, Watch Samadhi Aerial, and Brandy Lee’s Lé Bizarre drag show. Come in alternative garb, bring an alternative friend, and have a lot of alternative fun!

Draught Miller Lite will be available for $3. Premium beer selections on offer include Blue Moon, Killians, Grolsch, Pilsner Urquell, Miller Chill and Peroni. Bacardi Mojitos, 1800 Silver T Margaritas, Bombay Sapphire Tom Collins, 42 Below Vodka Bull and other mixed drinks also available from $5.

Alternative Taste Street Festival celebrates the unique character of the Arts District. Most of the favorite First Friday galleries will be open, offering their own parties and celebrations.

All downtown parking will be open including the Marks Garage lot. It’s First Friday with wigs on!
