Bankruptcy trial for Elemental Energy

Advertiser Staff

A Nov. 24 trial has been set in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Honolulu to decide whether Elemental Energy LLC should be declared bankrupt.

HMSA TO DONATE TO DISASTER AID EFFORTS

The Hawaii Medical Service Association said it will donate $10,000 to help flood recovery efforts in the Philippines and tsunami victims in American Sämoa.

A contribution of $5,000 will go to a storm relief fund at the FilCom Center and the rest to the Bank of Hawaii American Samoa Relief Fund.

"Our contribution is made in the hopes of easing their difficulties and also in recognition of the many HMSA members and staff who have families impacted by these recent disasters," said Bob Hiam, HMSA president and chief executive.
