The ghoulish La'ie Lady is lurking somewhere along the Polynesian Cultural Center's lagoon.

Chances are she'll see you before you spot her, but that's part of the scary fun offered by the center's Haunted Lagoon Canoe Ride, which will depart periodically, 6:30 to 9 this evening, for meandering 25-minute trips that promise more tricks than treats.

The rides will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Halloween night. Tickets for kama'aina: $15 for ages 16 and up, $10 for keiki ages 5 to 15. Guests may purchase tickets to a fast pass line for a shorter wait. For more information or to make reservations, call the center's ticket office at 293-3333 or visit www.polynesia.com.
