Rainbow Wahine move up to No. 3 as Shoji nears 1,000

The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team moved up one spot to No. 3 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
The Rainbow Wahine (15-2, 6-0 Western Athletic Conference) swept Nevada and San Jose State in a pair of WAC matches last week. Hawai'i coach Dave Shoji will go after his 1,000th career win in Wednesday's home match against Louisiana Tech (12-10, 2-4 WAC).
