An early-morning police pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended up with the vehicle abandoned on the Waikele Country Club course and a suspect on the loose.

KGMB9 aired video of a pick-up truck that the station said had been chased by police and crashed through a fence at the golf course before ending up in a canal.
Police said the driver has yet to be arrested.
