A fire hydrant on Coral Street fronting Fisher Hawaii became a geyser this morning after it was struck by a sedan.

The stream of water shot above a light post and briefly flooded the street.
Fire Capt. Earle Kealoha said firefighters shut down the flow and a Board of Water Supply crew was called in to replace the hydrant.
There were no injuries reported.
