Box jellyfish influx drops off

Advertiser Staff

Warning signs remain posted in Waikiki, but city lifeguards say the influx of box jellyfish has dropped off considerably.

Lifeguards found only 10 of the creatures on Waikiki Beach this morning.
Lifeguards at other Oahu beaches have reported no sightings of stings.
Beachgoers are still advised to check with lifeguards before entering the water until the jellyfish advisory period ends tomorrow.
