HAWAI'I PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION

The Hawai'i Psychological Association has appointed Melissa Pavlicek, proprietor of Hawai'i Public Policy Advocates, as its new executive director. HPPA assists clients in building grassroots advocacy coalitions, developing nonprofit strategic action plans, operating and managing membership organizations and charitable foundations, and assists with the management of nonprofit organizations.

HUNT DEVELOPMENT GROUP

Hunt Development Group has hired Matthew Hunt as a development manager.He will assist with the development of the company's Kalaeloa property, where he will lease out existing structures to tenants, as well as work with brokers, contractors, the Navy and the Hawai'i Community Development Authority.

HO'ALA LANDSCAPE AND MAINTENANCE

Ho'ala Landscape and Maintenance, a full-service grounds and building maintenance firm, has appointed Suzette Julian as janitorial/housekeeping manager and safety coordinator. She is responsible for managing employees in the janitorial and housekeeping division as well as planning and conducting training classes to ensure safety and worksite precautions for the company's 58 employees.

Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel recently announced that former partner Sean Clark has rejoined the firm and will continue his practice in the areas of corporate law, securities and mergers and acquisitions.

The American Marketing Association Hawaii Chapter has announced its new board of directors.

Accepting the position of president is Frank Haas, a former national AMA president and current interim assistant dean at the University of Hawaii School of Travel Industry Management. He is former vice president and director of marketing for Hawaii Tourism Authority.

HONOLULU ACADEMY OF ARTS

The Honolulu Academy of Arts recently named Aaron Kibota as head of finance. He was most recently region finance director for Frito-Lay and has been financial supervisor for Sony Corp.
