Officers with the Honolulu Police Department's Specialized Services Division were called to a possible barricade situation at Awanai Street in Waipahu after hearing gunshots last night, authorities said.

Police were called after gunshots were heard in the neighborhood around 7 p.m. Officers who responded then heard more gunshots from the business and suspected that a man was inside with a rifle, police said.

No one was injured last night.
