Annual Gregory House Programs fundraiser is Saturday

Gregory House Programs will host its annual Kahu Mālama Award Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser at the Hawai’i State Art Museum on Saturday
This year’s event will recognize the U.S. Congressman Neil Abercrombie.
The evening will include dinner prepared by Downtown @ HISAM, an open wine bar sponsored by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, music by Don Conover and a guest appearance by Shari Lynn, as well a silent auction.
Tickets are $100, available through Gregory House Programs; advance ticket purchase is advised, but available tickets may also be purchased at the door.
The event raises funds to support services provided by Gregory House.
“Without housing it’s difficult to have any form of stability in life and maintain any form of well-being, particularly when challenged with such a devastating disease as HIV and AIDS” stated Jonathon Berliner, executive director of Gregory House Programs, in a press release. “This fundraiser is vital to Gregory House Programs in order to continue to fund and maintain services vital to those individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
Gregory House Programs is a Hawaii non-profit established in 1988, providing rent assistance, emergency rent, utility assistance, emergency and temporary shelter, group homes, and transitional housing linked with supportive services to persons with HIV/AIDS throughoutHawaii. It serves more than 200 households each month.
The fundraiser sponsored by Commercial Data Systems, Shanghai Tang, Hawaiian Telcom, Go! Airlines, HMSA and Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand.
