A 35-year-old man with no local address was arrested late last night after a 41-year-old man told police the younger man, whom he did not know, forcibly entered his apartment and damaged a room partition and DVD player for no apparent reason.

The apartment owner told police the intruder threatened to harm him before leaving.
Police were called and found the suspect within the apartment complex on Hotel Street. He was arrested about 10:30 p.m. on suspicion of first-degree burglary, third-degree promotion of dangerous drugs and two contempt of court warrants.
