Maui and Kauai have been named the top two Pacific islands in the Conde Nast Traveler 2009 Readers' Choice Awards published in the magazine’s November issue.

Hawaii island was ranked sixth, Oahu seventh and Lanai, came in eighth.
The magazine’s awards contest asks readers to rank the world's best hotels, resorts, cruise lines, cities and airlines.

More than 25,000 readers participated this year.
Voted Hawaiçi's top three resorts were the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, the Big Island's Four Seasons Hualälai and the Four Seasons Länaçi, the Lodge at Koele.
