Third-ranked Hawai'i ran into some bumps along the road, but held off Fresno State, 25-19, 23-25, 25-15, 25-20, tonight. The Western Athletic Conference volleyball match was played at the Bulldogs' Save Mart Center.

UH sophomore All-American Kanani Danielson buried a match-high 22 kills, including the final three points as she took over in a fourth set that was tied seven times. She hit .445.
Aneli Cubi-Otineru added 13 kills and hit .407.
The Rainbow Wahine (19-2, 9-0 WAC) have won their last 15. The second-set loss was only the third set they have dropped during the streak.
Fresno State (11-11, 4-6) had five players with nine kills or more. The Bulldogs have taken a set off Hawai'i in each of the last three seasons.
The teams play again at the Stan Sheriff Center next Friday. The 'Bows continue this trip Saturday at Nevada and Monday at San Jose State.
