Amy Hanaiali'i’s latest CD, “Freinds & Family of Hawai‘i, is making a quick rise up the Billboard charts.

Released this week, the duet album is No. 3 on Billboard’s Top World Albums chart, No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers (Pacific Region) chart and perhaps most notably is No. 27 in the National Top Heatseekers chart that is comprised of eight regions.
“The National Heatseekers is really very impressive in that it is a 50 place chart and it’s rare that anything from Hawai‘i reaches that chart,” said Leah Bernstein, president of The Mountain Apple Company Hawaii.
Hanaial‘i said she was “extremely humbled” by the chart success.
“These numbers mean more to me because I have the chance to share this light with fellow artists I look up to, have grown with and those who continue to develop their craft,” she said. “I truly believe this album has something for everyone.”
Friends & Family includes   original duets with Hawaiian and Island music icons. One of the star features is a Van Morrison tune entitled “Have I Told You Lately?” with country music legend Willie Nelson, who resides on Maui parttime.
