California outlasts Rainbow Wahine in five sets

Hana Cutura had 30 kills to lead No. 10 California to a 25-11, 25-16, 20-25, 17-25, 15-11 victory over the fourth-ranked Hawai‘i women's volleyball team on the final day of the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Classic today.

The Rainbow Wahine, who lost their second in a row, are 4-2. California is 3-3.
Stephanie Ferrell led UH with 18 kills. Kanani Danielson had 13 kills and Amber Kaufman 12. Aneli Cubi-Otineru had seven kills and seven blocks.
Earlier, Texas swept Saint Louis, 25-17, 25-18, 25-10, to finish 3-0 in the tournament.
