Downed utility pole will slow west-bound traffic along Farrington in Waianae

Advertiser Staff

West-bound traffic on Farrington Highway will be reduced to one lane from Manununu to Manuulaula streets in Waianae until mid-afternoon as Hawaii Electric Co. crews work on a downed utility pole.

The pole was knocked down by a vehicle early this morning. Police shut down a portion of Farrington and rerouted traffic along local roads until HECO crews arrived.
Police will open one west-bound lane of Farrington after HECO crews strap up the pole.
Complete repairs are expected to take about eight hours.
