Palolo woman arrested as suspect in Waikiki robbery

Advertiser Staff

A 19-year-old Palolo woman was arrested yesterday in connection with a complaint filed by a 21-year-old man who said he was robbed at gunpoint in a Waikiki hotel early Saturday morning.

The man told police he befriended the woman and invited her back to his hotel room.
The woman eventually left the hotel but returned several hours later with three men, the complainant told police.
He said a demand for money was made while one of the men was pointing a gun at him. The three men and the woman left his room after he complied with the demand.
Police identified the woman as a suspect yesterday and arrested her on suspicion of first-degree robbery at the corner of Kalakaua and Kapahulu avenues.
