Two Kauai men critically injured in Koloa crash

Two men were critically injured in a three-car crash this afternoon in Köloa.

The accident was reported about 4:40 p.m. on Kaumualiçi Highway near the Maluhia Road junction, an area known as the “Tree Tunnel.” Two 23-year-old Kaläheo men were critically injured and were later flown to The Queen’s Medical Center on Oçahu for treatment.
A 20-year-old Kaläheo man and a 60-year-old Kapaça man were taken to Wilcox Hospital, where they were treated and released.
Kauaçi police diverted traffic in the area for more than two hours while they investigated the incident.
