Fund set for Rodrigues-Kaikana

Advertiser Staff

A fund has been established in memory of Iris Rodrigues-Kaikana, who was found dead Aug. 24 in an alley next to the Kamehameha Homes housing project in Kalihi.

Donations to the Iris Rodrigues-Kaikana Memorial Fund can be made at any Bank of Hawaii branch. Checks made out to the fund also can be sent to P.O. Box 2990 Honolulu, HI 96846.
Rodrigues-Kaikana was a graduate of McKinley High School and worked at the McDonald’s restaurant on Fort Street Mall. Her body was found in the alley and the city medical examiner determined that Rodrigues-Kaikana was strangled.
Corbit Ahn, 29, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with Rodrigues-Kaikana’s death.
